Hero or Celebrity

These days, people look at celebrities as heroes. I completely dissagree with that. Yea sure, celebrities look nice and are all rich, but that dosen't make them a hero. The real heroes are people like firemen, policemen, ambulance drivers, doctors, anyone who can hold a good job and support a family. Am I right? Comment on who your hero is or who you think is a true hero.

God

You know, I've lately been thinking how great God is. Think about how He was there before the universe. Nobody created him, He is almighty. God was there before time was, before history. He created earth in seven days, SEVEN DAYS! Now that is a feat I would like to see the modern day idols top... no chance of that. People today just forget about God. They get to caught up in their daily agenda that God just gets bumped out of their schedule. Well they need to wake up! They wouldn't exist without God, nothing would exist without God! And God isn't just here to make us and then disappear, he's here to protect us and guide us in the right direction. Have you ever had a time in your life that you want to do something that you're not supposed to but it seems really fun? But then deep down in your gut, something tells you that it's not a good idea? That's God keeping you out of trouble, or maybe even saving your life! God is amazing and people need to be able to see that. God is all powerful, think about him... it gets your wheels spinning.

Basketball (continued)

Today we just won our league championship!! What a way to end with a bang! Hope next next season is just as great.

Basketball

My basketball team this season was 62-4. We played more games than anyone in the program. We entered five tournaments and got first place in all of them. We were unbeatable (exept for the four games we fooled around). It was a great year, but now it's time to make way for lacrosse.

Sick

I'm sick today. My throat really hurts and I'm really tired. At least I get to stay home from school! And I already finished all my homework for today. Sometimes it's good to have a day off. But don't worry Jazz and Eliot, I'll be feeling great when you guys come down!

O Canada

I want to be able to go to Canada more often to visit Jasper and Eliot. We had a great time over Christmas break. The CN Tower was amazing, especially the sky pod. Wasn't that wierd when that cook at the mall where we got hot chocolate in Toronto left his stove burning and it caught on fire?! And remeber foker? (heh heh) I can't wait for you guys to come in two weeks!

Also, Duke won't win march maddness... Florida will!

Almost There

Lax season is so close! I can't wait to slip on the pads and run out and score some goals again. I just bought a new stick over the summer and haven't got to use it in a game yet. So I expect to improve a little. UNC is going to be number one this year and Duke will be last. GO UNC!
